The wonderful character actor Len Lesser died Wednesday, 88 years old in Burbank, California, from cancer-related pneumonia, his family said in a statement.
Uncle Leo became an important character in the Seinfeld show, along with Newman and George's parents, and his loud talking style and especially his way of greeting Jerry (Jerry! Hel-lo!!!!) earned him many fans. "Heaven got a great comedian and actor today," his daughter, Michele, said in the statement.
